# Selecting an Active Replica

> Choose which replica is served when traffic is failed over to the Restorer.

The active replica is the version of your site that WebOrion Restorer will serve when a failover is triggered. WebOrion automatically sets your first completed replica as the active replica.

If you have more than one replica, you'll need to manually switch the active replica when you want to change which version is served.

## Switching the active replica

1. Go to **Replication → List of Replicated Websites**
2. Click the **checklist icon** next to the domain to open the Replica Management page
3. Find the replica you want to activate and click its **grey LED indicator** in the Active Replica column

<Note>
  Only replicas with a **Completed** status can be set as the active replica. The LED will not be clickable for replicas still in progress.
</Note>

Once set, the active replica will be reflected in the **Active Replica** column on the List of Replicated Websites page.
