By default, each replica is automatically mapped to be served when the request hostname matches the domain in the replica URL. Hostname Mapping lets you override or extend this by explicitly mapping a custom hostname to a specific replica. Custom hostname mappings take priority over automatic mappings.

Adding a hostname mapping

  1. Go to Serving Configuration → Hostname Mappings
  2. In the New row at the bottom of the table, enter the hostname to map (e.g. www.example.com) and select the target replica from the dropdown
  3. Click Add

Deleting a hostname mapping

Click the Delete (red ✕) icon next to the mapping you want to remove.
