Once replication completes, WebOrion automatically creates a Secure Replica. You can verify it looks and behaves correctly before activating it.
Accessing the replica settings
- Go to Replication → List of Replicated Websites
- Click the checklist icon next to the domain you want to verify — this takes you to the Replica Management page
- Click the Settings icon on the replica you want to view
If you replicate a domain that already exists in your list, no new entry is created — the existing domain’s replica list is updated instead.
Previewing the replica
In the replica settings page, scroll down to the Preview of Active Replica section. This has three tabs:
Replica Preview — a live browser preview of your replicated site. Click Open replica in new window to view it full-screen.
View Files/Source — a directory listing of all files in the replica. Click on any HTML, JS, or CSS file to view its source code.
Replicated Links — a table of all crawled URLs, showing each link’s HTTP reply status and its corresponding filename on the server. Use this to verify all expected pages were downloaded successfully.
Uploading a maintenance page
From the replica settings page, you can also upload a custom maintenance page under Upload Maintenance Page. This page will be served to visitors when traffic is failed over to the replica.
Click Choose File, select your maintenance page HTML file, and click Upload. To revert to the previous file, click Undo.
Next step
Once you’ve confirmed the replica looks correct, set it as the active replica. See Selecting an Active Replica.
