Notifications define which contact groups receive alerts for each monitored URL. By default, every URL sends alerts to the DEFAULT group.

Viewing notifications

Go to Notification → Notification Settings to see a list of all current notification assignments, showing the Webpage URL, Contact Group, and Notification Type for each entry.

Changing the default contact group for a URL

  1. Go to Notification → Notification Settings
  2. Click Edit on the URL entry you want to update
  3. Change the Contact Group to your preferred group (e.g. webmaster)
  4. Click Save

Assigning multiple groups to a URL

You can have more than one contact group receive alerts for the same URL. To add an additional group:
  1. Go to Notification → View Notifications → Add New
  2. Select the Webpage URL
  3. Select the Contact Group (e.g. vendor)
  4. Choose the Notification Type (Email, SMS, or Email + SMS)
  5. Click Save
The result will be two entries for the same URL, each pointing to a different contact group — both will receive alerts independently.
This is useful when both an internal team and an external vendor need visibility into alerts for the same set of pages.
